Russian service for searching for performers of household works YouDo.com launched in the test mode identification of passport data and verification of executors’ documents with the help of neural networks and intellectual data from Sum & Substance start-up. Rusbase was told about it by representatives of companies.
To pass the identification and verification procedure through the Sum & Substance system, users need to send a digital image of the passport and the second document (driver’s license or SNILS).
The process of confirming the identity occurs almost instantly – the system identifies and verifies the identity with the help of a set of tools: the technology to obtain the necessary data from the document’s photo, the module for identifying fake photographs and the technology for determining the authenticity of documents.
While the option is available in the test mode to a small number of artists only on the site. In November, after the test, the procedure will be available to all and will be mandatory for new performers. In 1-2 months will appear in the mobile application, the representatives of YouDo.com promise. Also by the end of the year the company plans to introduce such verification for customers, but so far on a voluntary basis.
Initially, the identification of performers on the service was held manually and took a long time. Now the service began to cooperate with IDensic ID platform from Sum & Substance, which helps in automatic verification of documents for authenticity. “Various checks when registering new users help us to immediately screen out unsuitable artists and develop a community of trusted users, not only through feedback about each other, but also with confirmation of the person,” explained Denis Kutergin, co-founder of YouDo.com.
